About Us
Since 1926, the Salem Area Women's Club (SAWC) has worked locally to be the power of good in our community, making a difference through philanthropy and outreach programs while fostering connections, awareness, and life-long friendships. SAWC stands at 90 members strong and has donated over $40,000 to nearly 50 organizations this past year.
We are:
- A service and social club whose members work together to enrich our community.
- Long-time area residents and newcomers, moms, and grandmothers, wives and working women, friends and neighbors.
- Dedicated volunteers working individually and collectively on various projects.
