New England Ukulele Festival Auction Goes Live to Support Music Therapy for Hospitalized Children
The Southern New Hampshire Ukulele Group (SNHUG) is thrilled to announce that the long-awaited online auction, held in conjunction with the New England Ukulele Festival, is now live!
This year’s auction features an incredible lineup of one-of-a-kind items, including signed ukuleles from Bill Murray, the entire Red Sox team, the Dropkick Murphys, cast members of Happy Days, and other celebrated artists and icons who share a belief in the healing power of music.
Bidding is officially open and will conclude during the festival on May 3 at approximately 4:30 PM—so don’t miss your chance to take part!
Every bid directly supports Ukulele Kids Club, Inc., helping bring the joy and benefits of music therapy to children in hospitals right here in New Hampshire and across the country.

SNHUG welcomes players of all levels, from complete beginners to seasoned performers and there are no attendance obligations – come play with us as your schedule allows!
To date, SNHUG has raised over $129,000 for charity, mostly for the Ukulele Kids Club (UKC).
The UKC is affiliated with hospitals throughout the world including several here in New England. To date, the UKC has provided over 17,000 instruments as well as music therapy sessions to children in need of a smile, as well as their families and caregivers. Studies have shown that the therapeutic power of music is an effective clinical tool for physical, cognitive and emotional rehabilitation in children.
