Employee-owned jeweler named to lists in Maine, New Hampshire, and for Women in the workplace
WATERVILLE, Maine — August 25, 2026 – Day’s Jewelers has earned three Best Places to Work recognitions this year: Best Places to Work in Maine, Best Places to Work in New Hampshire, and Best Places to Work for Women. The Maine recognition marks the twelfth-year Day's has made the list, while this year's New Hampshire results reflect the first time the company's NH team members were included in the survey process.
The Best Places to Work program, administered by Best Companies Group, is based on employee survey responses evaluating workplace culture, benefits, leadership, and overall employee experience, rather than employer self-nomination alone.
The women's workplace recognition reflects a workforce in which women make up 69% of employees company-wide, a figure that shapes leadership, store operations, and company culture at every level.
“Being recognized as a Best Place to Work in Maine, New Hampshire, and for Women is especially meaningful because these honors reflect the voices and experiences of our employees and the culture we have intentionally build together,” said Bobbi Avery, Ed.D., Vice President of Human Resources at Day’s Jewelers. “As an employee-owned company, we want Day’s Jewelers to be the employer of choice for people who want to build meaningful careers, do work they are proud of, share in the success they help create, and know their contributions truly mater. These honors are a reflection of our employee-owners, whose commitment, ideas, and shared sense of ownership make Day’s Jewelers an exceptional place to build a career.”
Day's Jewelers became fully employee-owned in 2021, meaning vested team members hold a direct stake in the company's performance. Leadership points to that ownership structure as central to the culture reflected in this year's results.
